Ph.D. Application Checklist


The following is a checklist of items required to complete the application process:
___ Completed admission application form (do not leave anything blank)
___ $50 application fee
___ One copy of final, official transcripts from all colleges, universities, and seminaries attended (Golden Gate Seminary graduates do not need to submit any transcripts which were previously submitted for application to Golden Gate degree programs)
___ Professional Evaluation (Transcripts from educational institutions outside the United States must first be evaluated by an agency such as the International Education Research Foundation, Inc. A copy of the evaluation results should be sent directly to the Admissions Office.)
___ Official TOEFL score (if required)
___ Four recommendations (three from professors, one of which must be from your expected field of study). References must complete “Additional Comments” section.
___ Church endorsement form
___ Acceptable GRE score
___ Statement of rationale for graduate study (typewritten)
___ A copy of a paper demonstrating research capability
___ Original, signed Ethical Conduct Standard form
___ Interviewed by the Academic Graduate Studies Committee
