Office Location

Our office is now located upstairs near Dr. Kim’s office and the chapel, in the Academic Building. If no one is in the office when you stop by there will be a name and phone number on the door to contact for assistance. Please be patient as we may be out of the office working in other areas.

Office Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Friday – 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday – Dependent upon request and availability

Weekday Events and Request:

During the week we require you provide us with 48 hours notice for both special events and classroom request.

Friday Night and Saturday Events and Requests:

Please be aware that request for equipment or Audio Visual support is required at least one week in advance for events or classes. We are here to serve but arrangements must be made to have someone available on Friday nights and Saturdays.

Classroom Equipment Request:

  • Classrooms containing the “Black Box” (212, 220, 222, 223, 224) do not require special request for office hours on weekdays but do for times outside of office hours and on weekends. Professors should provide their own VGA cables unless otherwise requested. DVD and VCR remote controls also require advance request.
  • Classrooms not containing the “Black Box” or rooms such as Redwood, Oak, Belvedere, Tamalpais, Student Center, Conover Chapel, and the Chapel require special request for all equipment and support.

Audio or Video Taping:

Audio or video taping of a class or event is based on availability of personnel, equipment, and requires a one-week (five working days) notice. Fees may also apply for taping and requestor needs to provide their own videotape. Talk with Audio Visual personnel for more information.

Audio Duplication:

Duplications of audio recorded chapels and other events are now available. Tapes can be duplicated to tape and CDs duplicated to CDs. This service is subject to fees and availability.

$2 per cassette or CD copy when delivered to a GGBTS Box
$3 per cassette or CD copy when mailed at 1st-class postal rates

Audio Recording:

AV is excited to offer the ability to record all lectures and events in MP3 format. Chapels and special event are currently being recorded in digital format for your convenience and should be available soon in MP3 format on the Library Catalog.

Digital Recording Transfer and Editing:

We are now offering the service of transferring audio recordings to digital format. The Audio Visual Department is now able to not only transfer older recordings but also edit and enhance recordings before transferring to MPS or WAV format. This service is subject to fees and availability.

Video Transfer:

Audio Visual offers the service of transferring HI8 and Digital 8 video takes to VHS taps. This does not include any video editing or enhancement. This service comes on a first-come first-serve basis and is subject to fees and availability.
