How Much Does it Cost?

The cost per unit for online classes is the same as face-to-face classes, however, there is an additional per-class fee for online classes. Please see the tuition and fees page for the latest information. Scroll down to the "Other Fees" section to find the additional online course fee.

Is financial aid available for online students?

Currently, the only scholarship available to online students is for church planters. Students may fill out the application here or contact the admissions office with questions.

Can I transfer credit from another school?

After students have completed the application for admission they may submit a transfer request to the registrar to determine which classes may be transferred. For more information, please contact the registrar's office..

Can I transfer online courses to another school?

Online courses are accredited just as any other Golden Gate Seminary course. In general, this accreditation should allow them to be transferred to another school or seminary. However, each school has its own policies, so you should confirm transfer courses with the school to which you are transfering. Note that your transcript will not indicate whether or not your courses were taken on campus or online.

Will I have access to library resources?

The library staff takes seriously its responsibilities to support your seminary education. You can always call the library at 1-888-442-8715 (toll free) or send an email to the Director of Library Services. In some online courses, an embedded librarian is available to help you with your library related assignments. What if I have problems with my online course?

Once enrolled, all students receive 24/7 access to phone support for any technical issues they may encounter. For degree planning and other common student questions, students may contact Golden Gate’s online office. For help with issues regarding classes content, students can expect prompt and personal attention from their professors.
