Chapel

Northern California Campus
Broadus Hall (Academic Building, second floor)

The campus community gathers for Chapel during the fall and spring semesters on Thursday mornings 11 a.m. to noon.  Occasional gatherings are also scheduled on Wednesdays or Fridays.

The chapel experience is designed for the adoration of God, the exposition of His word, the inspiration and edification of the worshipper, and the exposure to the campus community of significant ministries and resources.

Many Chapel events and programs are primarily student focused and student led.  This fits well with our mission in shaping Christian leaders for the churches of tomorrow.  Chapel, therefore, becomes an important laboratory to exercise skill and ministry gifts. This student focus in weekly worship gatherings reflects generational trends, diverse expressions of reverence, new technologies and a variety of cultural traditions.

Chapel also brings to the campus community an intentional exposure to quality models of pastor/teacher leaders and speakers from the western states and the nation- undergirding the commitment of Golden Gate to the local church and church planting.
