Born in Maine and reared mostly in New England, Jennifer’s ministry experience includes church planting, children and youth ministries, and collegiate ministries. She spent one summer in Costa Rica teaching a class on evangelism and church growth for The Evangelical Seminary for Pastoral Education/ Escuela de Estudios Pastorales (ESEPA) Seminary. While there she also acted as translator for other team members.
Jennifer has been employed by Gordon-Conwell in the library, as a resident life coordinator, and was a Byington Scholar for the Academic Dean. She has been a camp counselor and Bible teacher at Camp Cedarwood, director of Rice Memorial Baptist Church children’s ministry, and a teacher through the Gordon County GA Board of Education.
Before coming to GGBTS, she taught the upper grade students at Aquidneck Island Christian Academy, a classical Christian school in Rhode Island. She is proficient in Spanish, having translated and taught Spanish as well as Latin. She has been working in the registrar’s office at Golden Gate since fall 2008, when she moved to Mill Valley with her husband, Michael, who is a PhD student in New Testament Studies at the Northern California campus. |
