Rocky Mountain Campus

The goal of the Rocky Mountain Campus (RMC), located in Centennial, Colorado, is to develop leaders who have sound theological knowledge and the ability to minister contextually in the 21st century. Classes are taught by professors with strong academic backgrounds, who are also experienced practitioners. Courses are offered in the Colorado Baptist General Convention building, a location that enables students to interact with state convention leaders.

Denver is culturally and ethnically diverse, with strong Hispanic, Asian, and African-American communities. Many opportunities exist to apply classroom knowledge to church planting, missions, evangelism, and other ministries. The RMC is accredited to offer the full Master of Divinity and Master of Theological Studies degrees. The Diploma in Theology and Diploma in Educational Leadership are offered for students aged 25 or older who find it difficult to complete their college training.

Courses are offered to fit the schedules of those who are in ministry positions or who work full-time, including distance learning classes that enable a student to come to the RMC one week each semester and complete one or two courses of study. The Professor of Missiology and Church Planting is officed at the RMC, and mentors church planters and missionaries in the Rocky Mountain region.

Resources at the Rocky Mountain Campus Library include more than 14,000 books housed in a furnished space. Research computers with word processing and Internet access are available, as well. Cooperative agreements with local theological institutions allow Rocky Mountain Campus students access to more than 850,000 volumes. Library usage is currently free at each of the cooperative libraries, but students should confirm hours before visiting.
