Rocky Mountain Campus Student Services

Welcome! We are so glad that the Lord has led you to be a part of the Rocky Mountain Campus of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. We are truly excited about helping you prepare for what God has called you to do in ministry. At the heart of the Rocky Mountain Campus is our belief that God intends to equip you to do something great in the Rocky Mountain region through your training and community life here at the RMC.

You will find in this section some helpful information in support of your studies and experiences at the Rocky Mountain Campus. Let us know how we can help!

Building Community: We count on seminary community being built both in individual classes and in activities involving the whole campus. Some professors include small group experiences in their classes and some have fellowships for individual classes on the campus or in their homes. Occasionally we hold campus-wide social events such as cook-outs and dinners. We encourage all students to take advantage of every opportunity to get to know fellow students. Because of our unique setting in the Rocky Mountains, there are plenty of opportunities for community growth that can happen outside the classroom: Hiking in the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, skiing at one of the many resorts within an hour of the city, or just enjoying the cultural diversity and physical beauty of the area are just a few of the opportunities for community growth.

Relaxation and Refreshment: Students are encouraged to gather in our student lounge to eat, study, or just unwind before and after classes or on class breaks. The lounge is equipped with a refrigerator, two microwaves and coffee maker. Students may place personal items (clearly labeled with your name) into the RMC section of the refrigerator. Because we share these facilities with the Colorado Baptist General Convention, we ask that students please wash used dishes and place them in the dishwasher and properly dispose of trash and help keep the lounge and patio clean for everyone’s enjoyment. There are also a variety of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive from campus that offer lunch or dinner at reasonable rates.

Wireless Access: Wireless Internet access is available in the library and in all classrooms. This enables properly equipped laptop computers to access the Internet, the Golden Gate Online Library Catalog.
