Volunteer at a GGBTS Campus

Landscaping, construction, office work, painting, graphic design, yard work, library tasks, writing – do you have time and skills you’d like to donate to Golden Gate?

We know there are a lot of intelligent, fit, willing and able people who want to help our seminary in a volunteer capacity, and we welcome volunteers who feel called to contribute to our mission at one of our campuses.

What makes this program stand out? We treat our volunteers like employees, with the only difference being a paycheck. Volunteers are recruited, interviewed, given a job description, and skills and interest are matched with available positions.

How to find out what positions are available and at which campus? The listing below shows positions, the campus, the skills necessary and other specific details. Check back often as new positions become available. You may also contact our Volunteer Coordinator and describe your skills and availability.

Even though this method is high-tech, the human element plays a large role. All inquiries are evaluated with a phone interview by Burtis Williams, the Seminary's Volunteer Coordinator. All volunteers are trained and supervised, and are treated respectfully. Consider combining your volunteer time with a vacation to San Francisco, the Rocky Mountains, Phoenix, the Pacific Northwest or even Southern California. (Anyone up for Disneyland?)

Select the campus you prefer, to see the positions currently available. If you are interested in one of the positions listed below, click the Detail buttons for more information. You will also find instructons on how to apply on that page.
